Stanley Jaskowiak born in Lechlin Village, Poznan Province, Poland about 1865 died 1920. lived in Wicker Park area of Chicago.
Owned a tavern. We believe it was called "Stanley's". Had 6 children:
Cecelia, Anthony, Lillian, Frank, John and William.
He served in the German Army in the mid 1880s,

Married Marta Wiszniewski? in the 1890s at St Staniuslaus Kostka church. We don't know anything about her or her family.
Operated a bar/tavern in Chicago area.

We are trying to learn more about his military experience with a German regiment in the Poznan Province. We think he was in an infantry unit. Records suggest that there were at least 4200 men under arms in about 4-5 Regiments. Maybe up to 10+ battallion's

He was very involved with the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. He was active in fund raising for the church and several of its programs.
