Buffalo, NY (1866): Andreas JAUCH & Friedericke

Classification: Query
Surnames: Jauch
Until today, what I knew about my Ludwig JAUCH family is that his father (Andreas JAUCH, Sr., b. 1800) took what looks like most of his four children (Ludwig, Anna Rosina, Maria, Andreas Jr.) out of Schwenningen after Andreas' wife died in 1846. The notation on his family registry page in the Schwenningen church records seems to indicate this. None of the children have any confirmation dates or marriage information, supporting the theory that they all left with their father after 1846. But I had not been able to find any of them until Ludwig's 1867 Buffalo marriage to Paulina Glunz.

Until today. While perusing the St. Johns Evangelical Church Records of Buffalo, NY (FHL# 037092), I came across this baptism record:

Friedericke Louise JAUCH, b. 3 May 1866; bapt. 2 Jun 1866
Parents: Andreas & Friedericke JAUCH.
Sponsors: Johann Jaeckle, Auguste Burghardt.

There's a good chance that this Andreas is son of Andreas Sr., and brother to my Ludwig...

I can't find this family in the 1880 census, and there is no further record of them in St. Johns-- at least in the baptisms section through 1882. Where did they GO?
