I have found Buddendorf's in Alabama, Pa, NJ, Florida, Texas, Ireland, Germany. Many of which are related to our family of Buddendorfs. Still searching.

Just contacted relative Stanislous Albert Buddendorf. Would love to find other family members, New Orleans has a few but have not been able to find them. Frederick Buddendorf dec. lived in Philadelphia. Trying to locate attorney's by the name of Buddendorf in New Orleans. Also the relatives of George P Armstrong married Louise F Buddendorf in 1878 and relatives of John Armstrong married Marie J. Buddendorf 1879. Please respond. Eric, It is actually good to hear from a Buddendorf(f). The sir name we look for usually has 2fs which I have seen in Louisiana census data. Buddendorff is a minor ancestor line We research and I have attached the descendent tree from my files on W.R. Buddendorff. You may have found the Web page www.home.swipnet.se from a Claes Schmidt in Sweden who has the best Buddendorff line I have seen. Steve

I don't know if it's any help to you, but i'm also looking for ancestors with the surname 'Buddendorf'.
As far as i know there is a large number of buddendorf in the usa (texas houston, new orleans....)
There are also a lot of people with this surname living in the netherlands and in germany. I have found a mayor named buddendorf in Woldenburg, germany in the year 1558.
If you surch with google on the internet you can find up to 500 search results.

Seeking information on Buddendorf who married Marie Beulah Javeaux in Louisiana after 1905. Marie was d/o Lillian Hotard Jarveaux who may have moved to New Orleans from Terrebonne Parish with 3 daughters Ruby, Beulah, and Nell after 1910.
