I know your post was way back in 2000 so this is really a long shot. I have a lot of information on Hubert Alfred Jebbett born 25/5/1902 - he was a missionary along with his wife, a nurse, Jean Williamson née Rutter. Together with their son Hubert John born 1938. They sailed back and forth to Africa. He built a hospital and in 1963 he was awarded an MBE. He died in 1973. So this all fits with your message. The only problem I have is that I am A Leicester Jebbett, but have not as yet linked the Leicester City Jebbett's with the Wigston, Leicester Jebbetts which is me!!!
