Are you certain that the Rev soldier William Jeffords is the same Billy Jeffords born in Dudley? Just curious, as I have speculated the same, but have not been able to prove.

Jemima's surname was Johnson. They probably had three children, born abt 1811, 1813 and 1815. I believe, but cannot prove, that he married first, Rebecca Rublee, probably in Lanesborough, MA, and that they had several children, including a daughter around 1790, Sarah abt 1795, William Jr., and Stephen 1806. At this point, this is an educated guess. I have not been able to prove any of this to my satisfaction.
