I have a very old picture of a large family, possibly 30 - 40 men, women, and children standing in front of a very old large barn. I have examined it closely and faintly on the back it says "This is the Jeffords Family". It came down to me from a Allan family in Saulte Ste. Marie, Michigan. I sure would like to get this into the right hands, as I know that someone sure would appreciate having it. So if you have any Jeffords ancestors that lived either in Upper Michigan or Canada, and had a marriage into an Allan/Allen Family (or possibly Cottle) please contact me at Judys85@aol.com.
By the way the people are dressed, the picture had to have been taken in the 1800's.
