Surnames: Jeffrey, Crain, Pettey
Are you talking about the John B. brother of James Jeffrey md. Mary Ann Hellums? I'm trying to trace this line also. My ggrandfather was William M. son of Jeremiah C. Jeffry son of James. Are there two lines? It seems some of the names are so close.
(William M. married Ellen Crane and one daughter, Maude married a Pettey).
