Have traced the Jenks line back to Joseph Jencks (1628) from England to Pawtucket, RI. Later members moved to Otsego Co, NY, Cooperstown area, and remained there several generations. Vincent Curtis Jenks (1791-1876) moved from Lawernce Twp. Otsego Co. to Panama, Chautauqua Co. NY. Vincent Curtis Jenks/Mary Ransom, apparently had eigth children, some who apparently stayed in Otsego Co. NY area. Two of the eight have been identfied as moving with their father. I am trying to identify the remaining six children. The two are identified as sons, Albert Lovett Jenks, and Curtis Jenks. Would like to develop information on the Family(s) that remained in Eastern NY.
