Jenks Royalty Connection?

Surnames: Jenks
Does anyone have any information regarding a connection to Royalty through the ancestors of Joseph Jenks? I read somewhere that he is a descendant of King Athelstan/Athelstane who was an early English Monarch. from 920(something) A.D. any information on this at all would be appreciated. thanks!
