Thank for the info. Hmmm, guess that sounds a bit grim. The remains of several members of the family were moved from Cemetery A to Cemetery B for reburial in a newly purchased plot. Rufus' clan was moved to Crown Hill in 1874 and John's in 1870.

Interesting that Perley named a daughter Jerusha. Rufus Sr. married Jerusha Field. He died in Hancock Co., IN in 1864. Jerusha died in 1868.
