My paternal Great Grandfather, Gustaf, came to the US in July1881 aboard the Wyoming with this wife, Marie, and children Wilhelmine, John, and Berndt. The family ended up in Sevier county and Sanpete county Utah. My grandfather, Joseph Hyrum and a sister, preceded them to the US. Gustaf and Marie were born in Sweden but the children were all born in Denmark. Here in the US the name became JEPPSON. Gustaf can be found in records as Gustave and Gustav and usually with the middle initial A or middle name Anders but when looking at the actual passenger list, it is N. The transcription shows it as H. No wonder we have trouble finding our ancestors!
