Looking for information on ellis island immigration for Caroline Jerin.
Her maiden name is Caroline Piltaver. She came into US with brother John Piltver (no record of entry) Caroline married Louis Jerin around 1916. I am trying to find out what name she used when she entered ellis island. The piltavers were leaving Austria and "dodging the army" that is why they didn't use their real name. Louis and Caroline Jerin lived in LaSalle Ill. and Chicago Ill. please let me know if anyone knows anything! Thanks, Sharon
