The following children were born to them:
Maxim b abt 1849 Beaudry (around Montreal)(this is the line my husband is a descendant from)
died 1931 Redwood, NY
married Jane Youngs

MRS. DELIA FIKES, FORMER Redwood WOMAN, EXPIRES

Utica, July 1. -- Mrs. Delia FIKES, 76, wife of Irwin FIKES, died Wednesday morning at her home, 627 Lenox avenue, after an illness of several days.

Mrs. Fikes was born in Canada but had resided for many years in Redwood, where she was well known to summer visitors as the proprietress of camps and cottages. For the last three years she had resided in this city.

Besides her husband, she leaves one son, William H. Johnson, of Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs. May Lawyer of Geneva, and Mrs. Hattie Perrault of Utica; one sister, Mrs. Harriet M. Poepel of Utica; one brother, Maxime Jerome of Redwood, and several grandchildren. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church in Redwood.

Mrs. Harriett M. Poepel 64 of 51 Emerson Avenue wife of Otto Poepel died suddenly at her home 51 Emerson Avenue, early this morning with a heart attack. Mrs. Poepel whose maiden name was Harriett Jerome, was born in Canada Dec 31, 1860 and at an early age came to this country.
She married Mr. Poepel in Utica, Sept 17, 1892.

She was a member, of St. John's Church. Besides her husband she is survived by one son. Harry J. Poepel and one granddaughter, Marian Poepel both of Scotia and several
nephews and nieces.

MRS. LOUSIA M. De Mar Dies
WITH Stroke of Apoplexy

Mrs. Louisa M. De Mar. aged about 70 years, wife of Xavier DeMar. died at the family home, 663 Mill Street Thursday evening. Death was due to apoplexy.

Mrs. DeMar was born in Montreal, Canada, and has resided in and around Watertown for the last 25 years.

Besides her husband there survives three sons. Edward DeMar of this city: William J. Dempster: Charles L. DeMar. Rochester; three daughters: Mrs. Mayme Beauchamp, Cleveland. N.Y: Miss Helen DeMar. Rochester :Mrs. Alvin Meade. Rochester: a brother. Joseph Maxim of
Redwood: and two sisters Mrs. Otto Poepel of Utica and Mrs. Ervin FIKES of Utica.

The remains were taken to Cleveland. N Y.. today by motor hearse. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's church. Cleveland. N. Y. Monday morning at 9. Interment will be
made in St. Mary's cemetery. Cleveland.
