My grandfather was Prude Jerrain and he lived in Kankakee IL. He died in the 1930's. His parents were originally from France.

Have had some luck this week in locating Jerrains from the area. My grandfather was Prude who lived in Kankakee, but also know more about his brothers John and Arthur and sister Emma Esther. Are any of those names familiar to you?

Would like to hear from anyone who has a Jerrain in their family tree. This surname apparently originated in France and ended up in the Chicago, Illinois area and branched out from there.

Looking for info on my aunt. Her birth
name was Joyce Ann Jerrain, born 3-14-39.
She was adopted as an infant by a family
near the Chicago, Illinois area in 1941
or 1942, who did meat canning as a family
business. Any info you may have would be
appreciated - her brother Paul is still
alive and always wondered where and how
