George or William?

Please can anyone help?
I am tracing my family to the Wiltshire JERRAM/JEROMEs.
My GGGfather is John JERRAM, born in Aldbourne according to the 1881 census. On his marriage certificate to Harriett Braxton (25th Dec 1858) his father is George Jerome.
I found a very useful tree from Rootsweb that seemed to match up perfectly in terms of the names of his spouse and their children, but for the fact that John's Father's name is William (Mother is Jane Sly). I've tried to get in touch with the e-mail address provided for the tree but my mail has been returned, user unknown.
On the 1881 census there were a George and Judy JERRAM in Aldbourne, Wilts of the correct age to be his parents. On the 1891Census Judy, (relationship to head, Mother) is living with John and Harriett in Upper Upham, just outside Aldbourne.
Their children are all pretty much the same names as seen in the mentioned tree - these were William John (my GGfather), Edward Charles, Henry George, Elizabeth Ann and Mary Jane.
I was wondering if anyone has links to this part of the family, and maybe if they can help? It could just be different names for the same people, but I'd like to find out! Many thanks
