I found the telephone where you can order a copy of the Jeter Mosaic. It is (817) 927-7050. The book cost $55.00. This includes all cost. It is a great book! I also received a coat of arms which I framed.

Good Luck,
Barbara Geter Woods
bwoods9@cox.net

There should still be a few books available.. I got my book a couple of months ago. You will love it! I posted the telephone number. I do not know what I did with it, I'll try to find it and send it to you. The published is Arcadia-Clark, Inc. P.O. Box 100085 in Fort Worth, Texas 76185. Grata Jeter Clark passed away but her husband and son still have the company. The book cost $55.00. They included shipping in that cost. I also received a coat of arms that I have framed. Look up the company on the internet and you should be able to get the telephone number.

Barbara Geter Woods bwoods9@cox.net

I am sitting here at 1:00 am, hoping and praying I will still be able to buy this book. I can't believe there may still be one out there! Has anyone checked lately who might know the availability status? I just started researching this summer and didn't realize this book even existed until this fall when I came in from the beautiful summer and got on the computer!

Anderson Jeter and Sorrow Susan Allen Jeter's Graves

My name is Millie Pickett. I live in Greensburg Kentucky and found the graves of Anderson and Sorrow in a beautiful stone-walled cemetery hidden away in Green County. I found it last weekend, quite by accident and am still unbelieving.
It was beautiful at one time...Sorrow's stone is still completely intact and Anderson's has been repaired with a metal bar on the back. It will be gone in another 50 years if it is not restored. My father is Doug Pickett, son of Anna Mae Twyman, daughter of Louella Ellen Marshall, daughter of Perry Franklin Marshall, son of Sarah Aceneth Jeter Marshall (wife of Benjamin Franklin Marshall) Sarah Aceneth Jeter was the daughter of Anderson snd Sorrow Allen Jeter. All living in Green County Kentucky since 1795.
Amazing. I have photos to share.

Thank you for posting the phone number and address for the book. I received my copy on Wednesday. I had given up hope of every seeing a copy of the book. I tried to access it through the Library system, but there wasn't a library willing to loan it through the interstate loan system.

My line is in the Lost Link Section under John J. Jeter, the son of William and Mary Jane "Polly" (Batman) Jeter. His son Benjamin Hugh Jeter is listed.

My great greatgrandfather George William Jeter is the son of John J. Jeter and the brother of Benjamin Hugh. The other children of John J. are: Eliza Jane (Jeter)Barth, Thomas Ehud, John J., Jr, and Matilda Jane (Jeter) Moore. George's wife was Emma Randa Price and his second wife was Hannah. Hannah had a son named Nathan Riddle. They all lived in the Marion, Williamson, IL area.

George and Emma's son George Hollida Jeter is my greatgrandfater. He married Daisy Gertrude Hall. They had a set of twins, Glen George and Versa Ellen.

Benjamin Hugh Jeter Sr. son, Bejmain Hugh Jeter Jr. also married a lady named Daisy, but she was Daisy M. Williams, and their son was Guinn Jeter. Daisy M. Williams parents are Thomas and Ellen Williams.

Loren Jeter Sr., the author of "Who Am I" A Jeter Family Sage, had mix the two Daisys up and had my great grandmother marred to Benjamin Jr.after Gerge Hollida was killed. Daisy Hall Jeter did remarry, but married Frank Lewis Pettiford. They didn't have any children together. Both lived in West Frankfort, Franklin, IL close to 50 years.

Thanks again for the info on the book.

Deb Jeter Andrew

Hello,
My name is Robert Geter. My great grandfather had a sister name Sallie Jeter, born around 1875. She had known brother Aaron Jeter(1871) and Henry Jeter born 1873. Her brothers moved to Fairfield and Richland County if she is the one I am searching for. I think there may have been an Annie Jeter as well as a brother name Robin. Aaron Jr., Henry Jeter and Sallie Jeter. They migrated to Fairfield and Richland County, SC. in the late 1800's. The name was changed to Geter then.

I'm researching a specific family of Jeters who lived in Union in the 1800's to early 1900's (African American). I've verified Margaret and Ruf Jeter through Census records and have been able to follow Margaret to her place of employment in the early 1900's (also employed were her daughter Isabel (Farr) and granddaughter Margaret (Farr). There is a 'Rose' 'Rosalie' or perhaps 'Rosie' that figures into this family and I'm trying to find WHERE...

I believe this woman married Robert Jeter (possibly the Robt Jeter son to Sago Jeter) but cannot find verification there....

Any ideas?
