I am looking for the Jewett line from my father, Carroll Jewett Jr. (born Aug 5, 1930 in Arlington MA). My dad never “legally” changed his name but has gone by Robert Dean Thues, taking the surname of his stepfather, since he was about 10 years old. I, of course, was named Thues, but I guess I am a Jewett too!

We know VERY little of the line of from my father because he left the marriage to his mother when my dad was 4.

What we know according to my dads birth certificate:
Name: Carroll Jewett Sr.
Place of birth: Yakima Washington
He married, on about 1924, to Ideal Fern Casteia (born in LA CA about 1912) who at the time went by the name Judith Rayleen Casteia.

My dad has a sister 4 years younger than he named Susan Jewett Christianson.

Are we in the ballpark?
