I am interested in corresponding with others researching the Jezierski (and Jezierska) surnames, as this name appears in two distinct lines in my family tree:

1 My grandmother Aleksandra Strokozaska (Strok) Jeremicz, b. 1882 in Wolpa, Poland, was the daughter of Vincent Strokozaska and Anna Jezierska. She had at least two siblings: Anthony Strok who married Anie Amelia Jezierska, and Harriette Strok, who married Walter Kucharzyk.

2 Anie Amelia Jezierska was the daughter of Stefan Jezierski and Anna Strzelkowska. Her siblings were Leonarda Jezierska who married Victor Hadica, and Stanley Jezierski, who married Anna Cegielska (?).

Anna and Anthony Strok had three children: Anna, Jadwiga, and Stella, all I believe born in Chicago, Illinois.

At this time, I am researching this surname in both directions: back in time to try to learn more about the Jezierska line in Poland, and forward to try to identify their descendents. If you would like to compare notes or information, please get in touch. Thanks!

I am interested in the nobility of Jezierski. I am at a stand still in my search and only have a Ignatius or Ignas Jezierski, but in onre document the son Frank John Jereski spells the first name as Yee, I guess because Ygnatius was the polish spelling. Could you email me at milonas3@comcast.net and let me know what you have. My Ygnatius Jeziersky came over to Belmont, Ohio in 1882 and in 1888 his bride Mary Marinda or Miranda came over at age 18. They were married in Belmont, Ohio.

Hi, My name is Angela Jezierska, my father was called Konstanty Jezierski born 28 March 1916 at Kalisz. Poznan, Poland his parents were called Ignancy and Marianna nee Jaworska, my father had a sister who married do not know surname or where she is and who inturn had a daughter, want very much to meet them, or can anyone help with regards to my background regarding my polish connections if at all I am related to any Jezierski's. Im living in El Salvador Central America.

Here, there is a big Family of Jezierski ancenstors.
The family name is a deformation of the original last name.... is Eserski. The founder of the family came from Poland, Suwalki town, in teh middle of the two world wars.
Im married with one Eserski woman.

It would be nice to discover more relatives around the world.

Are you any relation to a Frank John Jereski, or Ygnatius Jeziersky or Mary Marinda(Miranda)? I cannot locate where Ygnatius came from in Poland.

HIS FATHERS NAME WAS ANDRE/ANDREW ORIGINALLY FROM THE AREA OF PROBIKRY. CAME TO BRITAIN APPROX 1945

Lottie Jezierski

I am seeking the family of Lottie Jezierski. The only facts I know about her are that she died on October 19, 1955 and is buried in a hospital cemetery in Illinois. I have been researching that graveyard in general and Lottie in particular. Would appreciate hearing from any member of her family.

Felix and Felicia came over from Poland, about 1906, accompanied by my grandmother, Helena Budzinski. I believe they settled in the Detroit area after living in New York for several years.

My information says Mary Lou ELSTAD, b. 1947 m. Lester JEZIERSKI. Just now noticed the dates??
Mary Lou was the dau of Wilbur ELSTAD, b. 1911 in Mora, Kanabec Co., MN, and m. 1932 to Myrtle CLEMENTSON at Mora. Both Wilbur and Mrytle d. in Duluth.

Wilbur ELSTAD is the son of my Gr.Grandma's sister, Ingeborg Isabelle FRICKSON, b. 1868. Wilbur and my grandma are first cousins.

I am expecting more info shortly, and will check on the dates when it arrives.

Thanks for clearing that up! My Lester was married to Phyllis (Peg) but she died in 1969, so of course he remarried. His obit listed children joe and Christina and only his first wife. Lester was a cousin to my hubby's grandfather Chet. Thanks!

Lester Jezierski

Lester Jezierksi, who passed away in 1996, was my father-in-law. He married Mary Lou Elstad and had one biological child, my husband Joe. He also unoficially adopted my sister-in-law Christian, but Joe is his only biological offspring. Lester and Mary were divorced and he went on to remarry. He was also married prior to Mary Elstad. So, perhaps you are both talking about the same Lester Jezierski, just with different pieces of information about the same man!

There certainly could be two lesters, as the Jezierski family was quite large (all from the same couple who arrived in Dukluth from Poland 1892) Lester's son I believe IS jIM BUT he sure could go by his middle name, I don't know. Will keep in touch, Heather

I have Lester Lawrence Jezierski born Aug 5 1928 (the first child born to Joseph George Jezierski and Helenia G. Marczak) and died Jan 22, 1996 (hey that's today - spooky) His obit says he was married to Phyllis M (Peg) and that she had died in 1969, and that he had a son and daughter. How are you connected to these? They are my father in laws family, Joseph George was his uncle. Thanks Heather

My father in law is a Jezierski and as far as I can tell the family came straight from Poland to Duluth MN and the MN Iron Range. The family first appears in the Duluth city directories 1890 with Stanislaus Jezierska. I think this may have been G-Gandpa John Jezierski's father. G-Grandpa John (known as grandpa Knobs because he lived on "Knob" Hill in Duluth all his life) was born in 1896 and died in 1986. He married Cecilia Marscak (also Polish) and they had 3 sons. Cecelia's parents and many Jezierskis, some of whom we cannot connect, are buried in the Polish Catholic Cemetery in Duluth.

Dear Mike,
My mother in law is a Jezierski. her father was a Frank John Jereski/Jezierski and his sisters were Martha, Anna, Helen, Christina. The mothers name was Anna also. They started out in Ohio and went to Pennsyvania. Does your father remember any of these names. My mother in law was named Dolores Pearl Jezierski because Frank insisted on Pearl as her first name and her mother gave it to her as a middle instead. Pearl had some meaning to her as well.

I am researching the name JEZIERSKI/JERESKI. I found Ignacs JEZIERSKI on the 1900 family census. it list that he came over in 1882 at the age of 27 and that he is from Germany, Poland. his wife was Anna. he had 6 children, 5 living. iIn 1900 they lived in Erie Pa. came from Ohio. Any information anyone has on this name would be greatly appreciated.
