MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa - Joyce Jindrich, 69, of Gladbrook, died Sunday, Sept. 17, at her home while in care of the Iowa River Hospice.
A funeral Mass will be at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garwin. The Rev. Keith Birch will officiate. Burial will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Gladbrook.
Visitation will be at Goettsch-Perrin Funeral Home in Gladbrook.
Mrs. Jindrich was born Sept. 24, 1930, in Gladbrook, the daughter of Wyatt and Hattie Belle Cooper Thompson. She married Paul Jindrich on Nov. 2, 1950, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshalltown. They lived in Gladbrook all their lives.
She was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garwin.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; two sons, Charles 'Chuck' Jindrich and his wife, Geri, of Montour and John Jindrich and his wife, Julie, of Muscatine; a daughter, Karen French and her husband, Steve, of Madison, Wis.; four granddaughters and a grandson; her mother, Hattie Belle Thompson of the Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook; and two sisters, Eileen Rash of Toledo and Twyla Gouak of Rochester, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Evelyn Thompson; and a brother, Randolph Thompson.
