JIVIDEN, Carma Lee, 75, of Hess Court, Moundsville, West Virginia (Marshall County) died Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born August 20, 1935, in Buffalo, W.Va., the daughter of the late John and Roxie Werner.
She was a very active member of Simpson United Methodist Church, president of the United Methodist Women's Unit, secretary, former president, and presently a member of the Board of Directors of the Salvation Army Auxiliary.
Prior to the birth of her children, she worked as a clerk typist and later, a Mary Kay consultant.
She liked western square dancing, walking regularly, and playing the piano.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half-brothers and two half-sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years Arlin D. Jividen; a son Gregory (Patricia) Jividen of Frederick, MD,; a daughter, Carolyn (Stuart) Weliever of Crawfordsville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Grace Jividen, and Thomas Jividen, both of Frederick, Luke Weliever, and Rebecca Weliever, both of Crawfordsville; and her nephew, Charles Stokes of Holden Beach, NC.
Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Simpson United Methodist Church, 800 Seventh St., Moundsville with Rev. Teresa Markins officiating.
Interment and Graveside Services Sunday at 1 p.m. at Warner Cemetery, Mason County, W.Va.
