Charlotta Christina, also known as Lotta Christina, was born June 4, 1857 in Ebbarp, Krakshult, Sweden, father Johan Jaensson, mother Cathrina Petersdotter. She immigrated, probably to the mid-west, to the U.S. May 26, 1874 when she was 17.
