Emma Josefin Johansdotter, born 1866 in Sweden

1868, Emmas father Johan Gustav Johansson, emigrated from Kyrkefalla in Sweden to the US and the year after Emma and her mum Anna Sofia Abrahamsdotter, came along. Does someone know what happened to them? Here in my family in Sweden, we don't have a clue, but according to a relative history, done about 1960, Johan Gustav and Anna Sofia had more children, and Emma got a lot of children.
Anna Sofia was a sister of my grandfather's grandmother, and as my grandfather still is alive, 96 years old, it would be fun to present to him what happened with those distant relatives.
Does anyone knows something about this? Or does anyone has a clue, where to find any more information. We have search to find something in the censuses and on the shipping lists, but really doon't find anything.

I recently came across this name on a ships passenger list on the Adriatic that came to New York on 11/1887. This is my family name also and so is Swanson.

drop me an email...I just got back from a family reunion in sweden...and ebbarp is now 100% owned by my family thought it came via a marriage branch as well as the last owner giving it in his will to the family....so ebbarp is not my family per se from wence you search but I'm sure there is overlap -
