I am looking for my sister's father's people. Her dad's name was Waino Johnson. He was born in New York Mills, Minnesota and then moved to Washington at a young age.

His parents came over from Finland. Their names we John O. Johnson and Jennie Johnson

Charles: lived in the midwest. Went by Chuck
William: married Guyla in 1952. He served in the Army in WW2
George: nicknamed Lefty died in Cottage Grove, Oregon
Uno: Died in Santa Rosa, California
Ilie: Died in Washington
Elsie: married Jack Cota, and died in Washington in 2005

That is pretty much what we know about them. We know that there name before they immigrated was Ojala (may not be spelled right) All of the kids except John were born in Minnesota.

All of the boys except for Uno served in the Army during World War 2.
