their children were

Mary JOHNSON (1817-1866) & Thomas Wayth GUDGEON
John Geneau JOHNSON (1821-?) emigrated to USA
William Henry JOHNSON (1824-?)
Thomas Junius JOHNSON (1826-1906) transported to Australia
Robert Henry JOHNSON (1831-?)

I suspect that John's parents were Thomas JOHNSON & Ellen MARTIN of North Newbald in Yorkshire.
