      <title>Robert J. “Bibs” Joint, Sr., 83, of Erie, PA,son of ,  Albert and Gertrude Lynch Joint.</title>

      <description>&lt;br&gt;            Robert J. “Bibs” Joint, Sr.&lt;br&gt; Robert J. “Bibs” Joint, Sr., 83, of Erie, &lt;br&gt;passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Presque Isle Rehab &amp;amp; Nursing Center following an extended illness. He was born in Erie on July 11, 1925, son of the late Albert and Gertrude Lynch Joint. &lt;br&gt;A lifelong Erie resident, Robert retired from Erie Forge &amp;amp; Steel following 36 years of service. He enjoyed relaxing especially outdoors. Robert loved his time spent with his family. Preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Bellotti and several brothers and sisters. &lt;br&gt;Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Donna Decker Joint; one daughter, Elaine Fox (Norman), of Lake City, Pa.; two sons, Robert Joint, Jr. (Brenda), and William Joint, both of Erie; one brother, Edward Joint (Sally), of Millcreek Twp.; 11 grandchildren, Leslie (Andy), Sherri (Jeff) Chereen (Steve), Adam, Rose (Bruce), Robert (Brenda), Hope (Matt), Chastity (James), Jennifer (TJ), Robert III and Joann; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., West, 536 West 10th Street on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 8:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. William Bingaman of United Pentecostal Church of Wattsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.       <description>&lt;br&gt;               Joint, William F.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;                    William F. Joint Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather&lt;br&gt; William F. Joint, age 83,&lt;br&gt; of Erie passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was born in Erie on July 27, 1925 a son of the late Charles and Ruth Whipple Joint. William served in the United States Navy on a LST in the Pacific during World War II. He was a member of the National LST Association and enjoyed attending their reunions. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. William worked for Lindy Corporation, Union Carbide and retired from Air Gas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Joint. William is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rita Thayer Joint; a sister, Geraldine Joint; a brother, Charles Joint; three daughters and a son, Patricia Joint-Lipchik, and her husband John Lipchik, Sandra Joint and her husband Jon J. Evans, William C. Joint and his wife Lora, all of Erie and Barbara Sansone and her husband Joel, of Pittsburgh; ten grandchildren, David and Brian Lipchik, Chris and Patrick Evans, Beth Peterson, husband Jeff, Megan and William Joint, Ryan, Nicole and Alex Sansone; and one great grandson , Carson Peterson. He is also survived by one nephew and several nieces.&lt;br&gt; Private services will be held at the Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, followed by entombment in Mary Queen of Peace Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Emmaus Soup Kitchen, 345 East 9th Street, Erie, PA 16503 or Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.       <description>&lt;br&gt;            Nellie Joint &lt;br&gt;Nellie Joint, 94, &lt;br&gt;of Harborcreek Twp., died Monday, June 30, at the Village at Luther Square. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa.&lt;br&gt; on March 22, 1914, daughter of the late Stan and Cecilia Grabowski Wisniewski. &lt;br&gt;She had lived in the Erie area for most of her life. Mrs. Joint was a member of Our Lady of Mercy RC Church. The widow of James A. Joint, survivors include one brother, Albert Wisniewski (Doris), of Waterford; and one sister, Eleanor Bittinger (Joseph), of Sherman, N.Y. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Stanley and Joseph Wisniewski; and three sisters, Annabelle Mangoni, Josephine Mahoney and Betty Yurchak; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Rd. on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Further visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Gregory Cemetery.
