Joseph Joshua JOLLY (b 1817 Co Carlow, Ireland) moved from Ireland, probably County Carlow, to Macoupin Co IL around 1846 - 1850; is present in 1850 Macoupin Co IL census, without his family; by 1854, his wife (Mary WEBSTER, b 1824 Ireland) and 3 children have joined him from Ireland; they are in the Montgomery Co IL 1860 census, along with 4 children born in America; 1867 they move to Laclede Co MO, and are found there in the 1870 census. Here they settle, and both of them are buried.
