My relative had a Bible and his name was Edvard Jonsson born 1862 in Dals-Ed., Sweden.
His father was Jan Halvardsson born in 1819 Dals - Ed. and he too had a Bible.
I need more information about this Edvard Jonsson and what is written in The Bible.

You should get a Swede on the general board for Sweden to read the birth record at GID: 298.13.78700
For Maja, I see Brita Gudmunsdotter but not sure about the father. Also the household exam for 1789-1800 at GID: 298.1.77000 does not have Erik Svensson listed, but he may have died.

AINA V. JONSSON Aina passed away January 28, 2008, after a long illness at the age of 87, with her children and close friends by her side. She was born December 18, 1920, in Arboga, Sweden. In 1948, she immigrated to the United States, with her husband and children. She settled in San Fernando Valley for 52 years, moving to Santa Clarita nearly two years ago. Aina was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother, who also cherished her religion. She was a member of the Vasa Order of America for over 40 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry N. Jonsson. She is survived by five children, Stan Jonsson, Gordon (Patricia) Jonsson, Harriet (Ed) Richardson, Elisabet (Steve) Perez, and Christina (Gerry) Poe; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, a great great grandson, and a brother and sister in Sweden. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 1, 2008, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 19513 Drycliff Street, Canyon Country, 91351, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing at 10:00 a.m.

I am looking for information on the Anders Jonsson that was born on 19/7/1785 to Jonas Pehrsson 7/6/1756 and Anna Andersdotter 9/4/1754. Anders Jonsson married Maja Eriksdotter born 21/6/1788 to Erik Svensson and Brita Gudmunsdotter, I have no birthdates on Erik and Brita. ANders and Maja had one child that I know of I would love to know if they had more, their sons name was Peter Andersson born 26/8/1828. Can anyone help me? Peter Andersson was born in Rinna, Sweden. I'm searching for my grandfather's uncle Nils Anton Jonsson, Nils was his given name, born on 12 September 1893 in Skavbränna, Föllinge, Sweden. He left around 1925 for North America, but I don't know if he went to USA or Canada, so I'm just taking a chance here.
Unfortunatly this is all I know. His parents's name were Jonas Danielsson and Anna Karolina Pålsdotter.

He,and his wife Birgitta,Have done extensive research on this line.They are descended,I believe,from one Sven's brothers.They have submitted a gedcom to Disbyt which they have sent to me.
My Sven was born June 28,1847 and Maria was born Jan.11,1843. both in Enslöv. Maybe there is a connection you can find. I know familysearch.org only has the marraige date.

Just read your message. It may not be anything, but my Great-grandfather's brother's name was Fredrik Emanuel(Sjolen). I know that the last name is not Jonsson, but the strange thing is my father's last name is Jonsson who married my mother Vanja Sjolen (Sjolin). Anyway, the Fredrik Emanuel I am referring to was born Sept. 19, 1895 and died Jan. 22, 1980 in Sweden.

My great-grandfather's name was Olaf Jonsson from Forshaga, State of Varmland, Sweden. I believe he was born in 1871, though. I do not know whether he emigrated to USA or not. His son's (my grandfather's name was Ernst Christpin Jonsson born 6/21/1899, born in Sarpsborg, Sweden. My father is Stig George Ernstsson Johnsson Jonsson born in 1923 and living in Freeland, WA.

I'm searching for the parents and family (and any info) of Frans Jonsson, born 25 august 1858 in Varnamo parish, Jonkoping county, Sweden.
He later changed his name to Frans Enholm and married Hilma Margareta Lundqvist, born 1869 in Pitea parish, Norbotten county. i believe they had 9 children. He was a baker and he is the 1890 and 1900 census as Frans Enholm. He is recorded on the 'Pitaenor 2002'CD as Frans Jonsson Enholm born 25 aug 1858, died 19 feb 1940 in Langstrask.

I am searching for living descendents of Bengt Jonsson, born 11-01-1799 in Franninge, Mal, Sweden. He died 11-13-1874. He married Hanna Olsddotter who was born 02-06-1807 in Oras, Vasterstad, Mal, Sweden and died on 02--7-1862. They had 11 children; May/Mary who married Jacob Nilson, Mary/May, Elna, Ole, Jons, Christina who was born 05-28-1838 and married Mans Johnsson Nordquist. The remaining 5 remain a mystery. Thus far, we have located the families of Jons, (my great grandfather) and Ole (who changed his name from Bengtson to Benson. My great grandgfather changed his name to Bengson from the original spelling of Bengtsson/Bengtson. There is some confusion as to whether Mary or May was married to Jacob Nilson. Ole lived in Litchfield, Mn, Jons lived in Parkers Prairie Min, Mary/May lived in Kennedy, Min. It's unclear if any other siblings immigrated to the USA. My great grandfather, Jons, immigrated with his family on the "Patriot " May 5, 1881 with his wife, Johanna Petersdotter and 4 sons, Carl, Nils, Jons and Per Johann. Any information about the remaining siblings would be greatlly appreciated. Would so enjoy locating living descendents for a family reunion planned in Parkers Prairie, Mn in July 2007! Lookinf for any information on the Johnson ( this is how my mother spells it). Her Father's name was Freeman Edward Johnson. They lived in the PA are around Uniontown, Republic. Her mother's name was Anna , maiden name Miller.
