I am just beginning research on my paternal grandmother's line. Her name was Marie Josephs (born as Mary Ann, but changed it later), was born in Baltimore, August 21, 1909, went to the Peabody School in Baltimore for piano, and was a registered nurse. She had a sister named Agnes and their mother passed away when my grandmother was very young. I am doing research through the state archives to learn the names of my great-grandparents, but would love to hear from anyone with a Josephs connection to Baltimore. I know my grandmother was married and divorced before she met my grandfather, but other than knowing that her first husband was a jockey, I have no other info on him.
