Indiana to Oregon Joslyns of 1850s
I'm seeking information about the Wesley Joslyn family who emigrated from Vigo Co., Indiana in early 1850s to Clackamas and Linn County, Oregon.
The father Wesley Joslyn had a 1851 donation land claim on the Mollala River, near present day Canby Oregon.
Wesley Joslyn's son Rev. Andrew J. Joslyn was a traveling minister begining in the 1870s and traveled throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, before returning to Canby , where he died in 1920.
Another son John (b. 1832 in Vigo Co.) and a daugher Mary Jane (b. at Terre Haute, Indiana in 1830, wife of John D., marr. 9 Nov 1845 Vigo Co., IN) also came to Oregon about the same time (1852).
