Juarez family

Looking for any info on Juarez family. My g.grandmother was Rosa Juarez. She was born 15 Sep 1891 we believe in Juarez, Mexico, El Paso Texas area. The family seemed to have been from El Canejo, Sinaloa, Mexico(at least thats where my 90 year old granny thinks she visited back in the 50's) She was apparently disowned for marry an older man named Franklin Melville. They had 3 children. She then married my g.grandfather Josiah Swafford and had 4 more children. The family lore is that the Juarez family was some kind of indian and was suppose to be fairly wealthy. Who knows maybe related to Benito Juarez????

Re: Family of Pedro and Manuel Juarez and Luz Arriola

HI, Good to hear from you.

I show Luis Reyes, as the third husband of Luz j. Arriola. Her first husband was Pedro Juarez, and her second was Manuel Juarez, Pedro's brother.

Luz was born in 1906, to Jose Memedio Arriola and Maria Mejia. I can take that line back a little further if you want the info.

Luz and her first husband, Pedro Juarez had 8 children: Adalberto, Celestion, Arsenio, Ernesto, Saul, and Ophieloa. Our daughter Kim married Ernesto's (Ernie) son Jose Manuel, and they have one son Anthony. Joe has three kids by his first marriage to Adeline Felarca, those are Victoria, Anita and Jose M., Jr.

After Pedro was killed in a car acciident, Luz married his brother Manuel, who died in 1932. Their children were Danny and Lily

Then , I show that after Manuel died, Luz married Luis Reyes and had Jose, Hortensia, Luis, Rachel and Johnny. I assume this Rachel is your mom.

Would like to hear from you, where are you? We live in Yucaipa, CA. If you wish, I'll send you all I have on the family, I can take it back from our grandson, Anthony (He'll be 21 on Sunday, by the way). Just let me know.
I'd love to have any information you may have on the families down from Luis and Luz, Kids, grandkids, Dates - that sort of thing,
You can contact me at bonnfred@verizon.net

It all began when i asked my dad about his brothers and sister, he told me that his father had one wife and many lovers in many different places in Mexico, after the death of his wife he began to go insane and isolated himself from everyone, until his death that no one can remember. as a child i remember that i was told that he was a very mean man even though i never had the chance to meet him. we dont have much information just that he lived in Sinaloa Mexico the last few years of his life. in a small ranch called El Dies(The Tenth). if you think you are familiar or know bout anything let me know and ill ask more info from Mariano.

Benito Juarez was my grandfather on my father's side of the family. He lived in Gonzalez County, in and around the Nixon area. He married Liandra (my paternal grandmother, date unknown. They had 3 sons, Augustin, Candido and my father Frank (Francisco), 3 daughters, Magadalena, Rita and ?. I never met my Juarez uncles or aunts, except for Candido Juarez, who lived in Corpus Christi, TX (where my family lived) until his death. I recall as a child the name Tio Brigido being mentioned, but he was already deceased. My father, Frank Juarez married Trinedad Ramirez on October 1, 1938. I have 1 half brother, Emilio, five brothers Frank, Hector, Jose Benito, Rogelio and Pedro, and one sister, Grace Juarez (Escamilla). Let me know if this sounds like your family, too.

We are still searching the family of Pedro Juarez & Jesusa Eredia from Texas. 1900 Census-Karnes County, Tx. shows Pedro (as a child) living in the same household as Jose & Martina Juarez. Pedro is the son of Jesus Juarez & Susanna Gamboz & he was born in Panna Maria, Tx. They were mainly farm laborers and travelled around various counties. Some of the children were also born in Hidalgo County. My father is Inosencio Juarez and he was born in Shiner, Gonzalez County,Tx. Related names in this search are Brigido, Marcial, Jose Donato, Antonio, Enrique, Theodora, Petra, Guadalupe (Female) Benito & Jesus. If any of these names are linked to your family searches please reply.

Your Grandfather Benito was brother to my Grandfather Pedro Juarez. My grandfather was born in Panna Maria, Karnes County, Tx. in September 16, 1895 to Jesus Juarez & Susana Gamboa-which would be our great-grandparents. My grandfather Pedro Juarez married to Maria de Jesusa Eredia in 1922 in Gonzales County, Tx. I have the copy of their marriage certificate and also a copy of the marriage certificate for Frank Juarez & Trinidad Ramirez (also marriage to a Rosa Arteaga in 1931). Is your family still living in Gonzales County,Texas? Most of our family now lives in and around the Dallas area. And I think that a lot of the Juarez family still lives around Gonzales & Matagorda County, Texas. Reply back if you or your family know or can remember any other names & dates of relatives. I think that we 'are' the same family. Are your parents still living? My father Inosencio & our grandparents are now all deceased. I still have a few uncles & aunts here in Dallas that are still living.

I have a birthday and death date for Apolonia Delgado, B. Feb.-9-1891- June-3-1973.
As far as where the family lived, They may have lived in or around Floresville, Texas as My Angelita Delgado was born in Floresviille in 1909. I have heard some were from Mexico, but not sure where. Each little bit will help break this wall down, and very much appreciated.
