I have Family info on the Judas side. I have been to your web site and there is alot of info in there.

My husbands Grandmother is Nelda McDonald
Mother is Emma Rosina Echart and father is Emil Rudolph Judas. The family came from Germany in 1874. (I think), do you know of any info on these people??

Sorry I didn't post this earlier. Homestead started charging for web space so I cancelled that account. The new site is being built at my main genealogy site www.estacaille.org. It's not up and running yet - have to learn a bit of programming first so. But I think you will like this new format which will include a new search engine - and there's lots of room to grow.

My Grandfathers name was Victor Judas married to Mable (Fleegel) Judas. They lived in Montello Wisconsin. I am not sure of my Grandfathers parents names I am researching through family and friends right now.

Possible Judas/Judis connection

My mothers name was Constance Jean Judis.
Her parents were Frank and Margaret Judis. I was wondering if there could be a connection in these names. I am new at this. Any help would be appreciated. Frank was born in Ill. Margaret was born in Hungary. My mother was born in Hammond, Ind. My e-mail address is Ishamfam@bellsouth.net

Frederic married Anna Hartman in 1871 in Roppeviller, Moselle/Lorraine. Sons Jacob and Johannes born there. The family emigrated to Plymouth Mass shortly after, and then relocated to Taylor County, Wisconsin.
