Okay, he is listed on this site, (Rootsweb) several times, but no one seems to know anything about him......is his wife BETSEY TAFT or BETSEY McNAMARA? Is his father JOHNATHON or SOLOMON? Everyone gets the dates right, but after that, it is pretty much a crapshoot on who is related to whom.........this is very frustrating for those of us that want to legitimately know our ancestors!!! We have to wade through mountains of misinformation hoping to find the 1 scrap that will tear down the brick wall we have hit.
