      <description>My g-grandfather was Frank A. Jura.  He came to Nebraska with his siblings, parents (Jakub and Katerina Jura) and grandparents (Frantisek and Antonie Jura).       <description>i also try to track names.. my grandfather&lt;br&gt;was named william and lillian amanda was close to the jury family... maybe a connection .. but on my hoffman side EVERYONE IS NAMED JOHN,JOHAN,JOHANNES ETC.&lt;br&gt;IF MAKES IT HARD TO TRACK.&lt;br&gt;I.E. MARY ... WAS HER SWISS NAME MARGUERITE/MARGARET OR JUST MARY.. I FIND THAT DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE....&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I KNOW GERMAN/LITHUANIAN NAMES BUT NOT SWISS&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;FOR EXAMBLE -- MY GRANDMOTHER "HILDA" WAS PROBABLY HILDEGARD...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;THANKS LISA</description>

      <title>Julius Jura</title>

      <description>Julius Jara born in Switzerland. He married Mary A. and moved to France, Where Fredinand Jure' was born in 1845. They imigrated to the USA in 1850 to Redwood, NY. Where another son, William was born. Fredinard served in "I" Company 20th NY Volunteer Cavalry in the Civil War. He was kicked by a horse, injuring his right leg. He was honorably discharged on July 31, 1865 at the age of 20. He returned to redwood and married Chatherine Thomas on Oct 23, 1872. He became a Naturalized Citizen where he changed Jure' to Jury. Catherine died. He left town and endedup in Bear Creek, WI. And married Isabella Phillips(also French). In 1879 their son, Harry Martin Jury was born. He married Vesta Theresa Mack. In 1903 their son, George William Jury was bord. He married Clara Lillian Olive. And so on ...</description>
