Lieutenant William Hiair Jutras US Army World War I

William was my grandfather Henry Barbeau's Cousin. William was the son of Alfred(Alberd?) Jutras and Martha Barbeau. Martha was sister to Michel Barbeau (Baribeau?) who was my grandpa Barbeau's Father. William was killed in battle in 1918 and an American Legion Post #43 was named for him in Manchester NH on Boutwell Ave. What did he do that made him so famous to the Veterans in 1920's?????

Searching for any and all information regarding Joseph Joutras/Jutras who was born in French Canada about 1820.

He apparently migrated to the Quebec City area and ended up marrying Louise Marguerite Lemieux, daughter of Germain Lemieux and Anne-Louise-Adelaide Peachy. Germain was born 1796 in St. Henri de Lauzon, Quebec, Canada, Adelaide was born 1797 in Quebec City.

Joseph and Louise migrated to New York City around 1846 where he was a tailor by trade.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Dillon M. Jutras, 20, of Fairfax Station, Va., died in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, on Oct. 28, from injuries sustained while conducting combat operations. Jutras was assigned to the Army's 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga.

What kind of information? He has a father named Pierre who was a Major in the Army last I saw him. He was only 20. He was a great kid.

Hi. I think that maybe our families may be connected somehow. My father in law was Arthur Jeffrey Fontaine from Lowell. His godfather was a Jeffrey Jutras, who we were told moved to either Worcester or Cambridge. So, I think that maybe your dad is the Jeffrey Jutras I've been looking for and the man my husband Jeff Fontaine was named for. Would love to have some info on your dad.

I've been trying to figure out who Jeffrey Jutras was, how he was connected to the family, and who he was related to. Seeing your posting on ancestry.com, I see that you have some Lavoie connection. My father in law's grandmother was Sarah Lavoie. Do you have any info on Sarah?

Toute information au sujet du patronyme "Jutras" m'intéresse. Je suis en train de compiler et de donner une filiation a tous ces Jutras... de l'Amérique du Nord.

Pour ce qui est de ton père Déus Jutras, je sais qu'il est le fils de Elphège et Françoise Bosivert et qu'il s'est marié avec Cécile Faucher (fille de Wilfrid et Rosa Thibault) le 18 juin 1955 à St-Sylvère dans le comté de Nicolet. J'ai aussi trouvé 4 de ses enfants: René, Pierre, Real et Hélène. Il me manque encore beaucoup d'information puisque tu dis qu'il a une soeur Jeannine Jutras. Y a-t-il d'autres frères et soeurs? Sont-ils (elles) marié(e)s? Ont-ils des enfants? etc...

I am looking for any information on the Jutras's here is what I have so far my Grand Fathers grand father was Hormidas Jutras and married Alvehia Lafont. His parents were Adhemar and Rhea (Cabana) Jutras. Adhemar had several siblings Irene Jutras (Rivers), Ida Jutras (Menard), Germaine Jutras (Carrier), Robert Jutas and Antoinette Jutras (Bechard). I know that most of my family came from Canada I am trying to put toget a family tree any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Stephen!I'm glad we connected.And yes I'm sure of the linkage.My mother is Gertrude's first cousin.Mom's name is Esther Alma Carrier Rousseau.She was named after her grandmother(Esther Lauzon Jutras)and her Godmother(Alma Jutras).Your g-grandfather was her Godfather.I don't know if you've had a chance to view Claude Jutras'site yet.I recommend you give it a try;it's awesome.
I believe that Adelard's sister's given name

Précise ta requête! Moi je sais par ce que tu as fourni que tu es né en 1966 et que tu es le fils de Claude Jutras et Monique Courchesne (m. 16 mai 1964, St-Joseph, Drumm.). Tes grand-parents paternels sont Roch Jutras et Anne-Marie Poirier. Tes grands-parents maternels sont Lucien Courchesne et Blanche Lambert.
Je peut te fournir ta lignée ancestrale des Jutras jusqu'en France si tu le veux.

And I don't think that your Hormidas is the son of Adhemar Jutras and Rhea Cabana. For me I suppose that it is inverse: Adhemar would be the son of Hormidas and Alviana Lampron (and not "Lafond"), but I've nothing to confirm this hypotheses. Hello, Claude Jutras! It seems that you are keeping tabs on all the huge "Jutras Family" so, perhaps, you can fill in some gaps for me. My ggggrandparents are Catherine Jutras and Odilon Plourde from the Trois Rivieres-Baie de Febvre region. At some point, the family migrated to French Island, Wisconsin area and married and raised families there. I don't know if Catherine and Odilon emigrated but their daughter, Zoe, my gggrandmother, married John Richmond (also from Trois Rivieres) and they lived on French Island. I, too, am researching my French Canadian connection. Catherine Jutras married Odilon (I believe that is the correct spelling) Plourde. One of their children (Marie Zoe) is my gggrandmother. I would like to know more of Odilon and Catherine and their children. Three names of the children are known to me: Zoe, Philomene and Joseph. They migrated to French Island, Wisconsin. I don't know if Odilon and Catherine also migrated or remained in the Trois Rivieres-Baie de Febvre region of Quebec. I will appreciate any leads or information and will be happy to share any that I have.
