I found a Joseph Kabat age 20 living in Dubuque, Dubuque County, Iowa in 1860 with his wife Eleanor and a son Joseph and John Valenta.

They are living right next to my great great grandparents Jacob and Mary Macal.

Am wondering if there is any connection between the two families.
