Photo of Mrs. Herschel Kabel, nee Katherine Klump

I have a photo of Katherine Klump, Mrs. Herschel G. Kabel, and her sisters, Flora (Mrs. Olin Shepard) and Dora L Klump as young girls.

All three of the girls are in one picture, taken about 1889. The girls are the daughters of Christopher (Chris) and Maria R. Klump of Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY. I will send a copy to anyone who wants one.

From the censuses, here's the family:

Christopher Klump, born Jul 1847 in Hessen (Germany). Immigrated 1870, living in Watertown, Jefferson Co., NY, since at least 1880. Shoe dealer.
There is a William Klump in Watertown in 1870, from Hesse, Darnstadt. A relative?

Maria R., his wife, born Nov 1852 in NY. Married 1874/1875. Died between 11 Apr 1910 & 10 Jan 1920 censuses.
There is a Maria Ramsdell in the 1870 census, domestic servant, could this be her?

George W., son, born Aug 1876 in NY. Shoe salesman.

Dora L., daughter, born Dec 1881 in NY. Shoe sales lady. Still single and living with her widowed father in 1920 in Watertown. Pictured.

Flora P., daughter, born Sep 1883 in NY. Pictured

Kathryn M., daughter, born May 1886 in NY. Pictured.

Flora's obituary is on line at http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=message&r=rw&p...

The photo is in the Simon family album. Does anyone know how these families connect, other than as friends? Charles Simon was a shoe dealer in Syracuse from about 1855 until he retired, at which time his son, John Charles Simon ran the store.
