From my first request back in 2001 it has been interesting to see where the message boards have led. Unfortunately I haven't received any information on my Kabisch however it has been fascinating to find that there are so many Kabisch's the world over. Growing up we thought our name to be unique here in Australia, but it is as common as Smith in Germany! I have since discovered my GGrandfather came from Aupitz in Germany, but nothing more. Any information gladly received. Family research is so addictive and so very frustrating!
