My name is Paul Barry. I am a descendant of Henry Kable that was on the First Fleet to Australia and married Susannah Holmes. My family has completed the Kable Family Tree going back to Henry Kable and going up to around the 1980's or 1990's. I have some information on Henry Kable's father, Henry Keable. I now have a tiny amount of information on Henry Keable's father , James Keable and Henry Keable's grandfather, James Keable.

I would appreciate any information on Henry Keable's father James and grandfather James. If I can be of any assistance to anyone, please let me know.

Her birth mother was Emil Kables daughter JoAnn. At the time of her birth JoAnn was married to a William S Colvin. They were married in Colfax Washington. My friend was born in Caldwell Idaho,on June 15th 1959.Any information on living relatives would be appreciated.

I am looking for info actually on my mother Jo Ann Kable. She was adopted by Emil and his wife. She had a twin brother who drowned in a canal on their farm in Calwell named Johnny shortly after they were adopted. She was born in Pocatello ID under the name of Mc Carthy I believe. Martha Matilda Kable b1822 d1900

I am looking for information on Martha Kable b1822 d1900 daughter of George Esto Kable, son of Henry Kable Australian First Fleeter.

I believe Martha married Joseph Aarons in 1842 with whom she had one child, Eliza Aarons b 1842

I am looking for confirmation that Martha changed her name to Mary and while in Bathurst had several more children
Susannah Aarons in 1859 or 1860
Elizabeth Aarons in 1864
I do not know the name of the father of these children.

Martha / Mary then had a child with Charles Javens (b1817 in Lincolnshire d 1902) who she married in 1878 in Bathurst Australia. Their child was Mary Jane Javens b1870 d 1954.

On her death certificate (1900) Martha / Mary is recorded as Javens, Mary M.

Would appreciate any clarification of this data.

Does anybody have any information on James Keable before he married in 1699. All I have is that he married Frances Watling or Watlin in Laxfield, Suffolk, England on 7 November 1699 (they had a number of children). He died in 1728 and was buried on 10 November 1728 in Laxfield, Suffolk, England.

New Book from June Whittaker

This is the information about a new book, as
mentioned by June Whittaker in her email to me. The
book, the third in the Kable trilogy, is called "The Fire in
His Eye". She is looking at getting the first two
books plus the new book printed as one book. She's
been getting various printing quotes and the best deal
she's been able to get so far is $35 (including GST),
although that price isn't the absolute final price,
just the most likely price at this stage. She doesn't
want any money sent to her at this stage, just the
names and contact details of people who would like to
buy a copy. This will give her a better idea of the
size of the print run and enable her to get a firm
price for the book. She'll then get in touch with the

I am researching the ancestors of Henry Kable. This is some of what I have:

Henry Cable/keable was born around 1741/42 in Elmsett, Suffolk and died in 1783 in Norwich Castle, Norfolk, England. He married Dinah or Diana Fuller(born 1738 in Little Bealings, England) in 1762. Their children were: Henry, John, Martha, Dinah, Ann, Elizabeth, William, Sarah, and James. One of their children, Henry Kable, came to Australia on the First Fleet as a convict and married Susannah Holmes in Sydney, Australia in 1788. They had a number of children.

Henry Cable/Keable's parents were James Keable (born 1705 in Suffolk and died in 1783) and Elizabeth Rudd (died in 1755). They were married in St. Peters, Ubbeston, Suffolk, in 1724.

James Keable was born in 1705 in Suffolk, England and died in 1783. Their children were: James, James, william, Elizabeth, Henry, Sarah, Henry, and Mary.

James Keable's parents were James Keable (born in Laxfield, Suffolk, England and died in 1728) and Frances Watling (born in 1670 in Laxfield, Suffolk, England and died in 1714). They were married in 1699 in Laxfield, Suffolk, England.
