Jesse and Topsie Mae Kabler

They were my biological, Maternal Granparents. I am especially interested in finding out about Topsie Mae (Lindsey) Kabler's Family Tree on her Father's side(In other words, all of the Lindsey's).

Forgive me if any of the names are spelled wrong! Jesse and Topsie Mae lived in the Sedalia, Missouri area(Pettis County).

Hello, unfortunately im not familiar with much of my family History on the Kalber side. My grandfathers name was George Kalber, he married Cleo Balch and then later re-married. I know he died sometime around the early 80's and is buried somewhere in Indiana. My fathers name was Terry Lee Kalber whom past away in May of 2008 his sisters are Melissa and Francie. Any information would be great. I look forward to meeting new friends.

ELDRIDGE "JACK" FREDERICK DIES MONDAY EVENING
Eldridge (Jack) Frederick 82, died Monday evening at 5;15 o'clock at the home of his son Buck Frederick near Abigail of infirmities of age.
He is survived by three other sons, Roosevet, Ano and Cute Frederick and two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Tackett and Mrs. Rose Kabler of Greenfield, Ohio. His wife who was a Miss Browning, passed away a number of years ago. A daughter, Mrs Alice Curtis is also deceased.
Funeral services were held at McKendree Chapel Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. G.G. K i on. Interment in the McKendree Cemetery. In charge of Cain & Sheeler.

Frances "Fanny" KABLER was born in Culpeper County, VA circa 1781. In 1820 Fanny married John HANSBROUGH, a resident of Hampshire County, VA (now WV). Census records suggest that this may have been the second marriage for both Fanny and John. I am searching for Fanny's parents and the first spouces of Fanny and John. I am looking for any info on Rosa M. Frederick, born in Robertson County, Kentucky on 6/17/1876 to William Frederick and Lydia A. Day. The only info I have on her after this date is her brother Dennis Lee Frederick's obit on 12/13/1935 that said she was living in Mays Lick, Mason County, Kentucky and was named Rosa Calber. I believe the last name is misspelled and should be Kalber, since there are many Kalbers in the Robertson County area. Any information would be appreciated as I have spent many many hours trying to find her!! Thanks, Mike

Vince (b:11-03-1877 d: 5-05-1942), was the son of Daniel Elijah Kabler (b:2-06-1853 d:6-22-1930) and Mary Helen Insko (b: 1856). He had 11 siblings. Have more information if you want it. I am granddaughter to his brother, Francis Marian (Frank).

Southeastern limb of the tree and which go
back to the family's misadventures with the
seacaptain who had them sold into indentured
servitude. I also have the huge quantity
accumulated by Cullen Cabler on floppy disk
and goes back to 1590 in Germany... prints

I found out that it was, in fact, Parks Kabler
and that he was a physician for the train
system, back in the days when it was required
by trains that they have a physician on board.
He was mayor of Hannibal, Missouri in 1900.
He married a Knott.

My paternal grandfather's mother was Nita
Kabler from Missouri (possibly Hannibal, but
I'm not positive yet). Her father was Parks
Kabler (b. 1850-60). I'm not sure, as of yet,
what her mother's maiden name was, but I have
always been told that Knott is a family name,
along with Kabler. I will find out more and
post it.

I have been tracing my family background and have come across a Harris Cabler born 1821 in Tennessee and died around 1879. He had married Sarah Edney from Tennessee. They had adopted a Mary E. Cabler, said to be full blood indian. Do you have any info on Mary? About 6 or 7 generations back there was an Harvey or Frederick Cabler, one of them was Harris Cabler's father, I suspect it was Harvey born 1755 in Culpeper Co., VA. Harvey was married to Eleanor ? Born 1752-June 1824 in Davidson Co. Tennessee. There is also an Christopher Kabler born 1725 VA - (1787-1790) Rockingham Co. NC and married by 1755 Mary ? --- And there was an Frederick Kabler/Hans Friedrich Kappler, the immigrant, Bretzfeld, Wurttemberg (Germany) married by 1713 in Germany to Maria Barbara/Barbara born 1690's in Germany. Don't recall a physician on this branch of
the family tree. However, in a few days I'll
get out the records and e-mail you anything
that might look like a promising lead. My
line moved to western No. Carolina, then
split,some going south, some further west.
Your Dr. Kabler may have sprung for the
latter branch.
BTW,spelling of the family name seems to have
changed from one generation to the next for
the first hundred years or so. There are a
zillion Cablers, Kablers, Koblers in the
Tidewater area of Virginia. You may wish
to check out the internet white pages for
Norfolk and other Virginia cities and towns.
