I'm also researching the Kaemmlein family in Michigan. Gottlieb Kaemmlein and Christine Linderfer lived in Monroe Co., Michigan. Go to the Monroe County Historical Museum and you can order a copy of each of their obituaries. Several of their children are also in that list. Hope this helps. I would like to know the parents of Gottlieb Kaemmlein? He also had a sister Maria Henietta (Kaemmlein) Lutz. Thanks for any help.

surfing through the net I was interested what I could find out about my family ! I could check with my father/aunt if they have any information you are looking for. Some years ago they had started a search on their family as well - seems we are all originating from Bavaria/Franken. I keep you posted.
Best regards
Renate
(living close to Munich, Bavaria)

Hi,
I am avidly researching my husband's family. There aren't many people with the name Kachelmuss. Do you have any information we can share? Carl Kachelmuss came here from Germany in the mid 1800's. He settles in the Illinois/Indiana area. many of the relatives are of the Apostolic Faith. I'm looking forward to a response!

Eric, I have been in touch with someone who is a descendant of the Kachelmuss'of Grosgartach. She recently went to Salt Lake City for research, so you may wish to contact her. Her e-mail is dhagner@attglobal.net. Her name is Debbe. My Kachelmuss, is Carl who emigrated to the US in 1890, through Canada (we think) from Stangenbach, Wuerttemburg, Germany. Debbe and I have not been able to connect the families yet. There just aren't too many Kachelmuss', so it would be strange if there wasn't a connection! Let me know if you need more info. esoom@foxvalley.net

Minnie's parents were Christ Lindoerfer and Friedericke Schambach. Please send me your e-mail address and I will forward my gedcom, and if you include your snail mail address I will send you copies of everything I received today. Now we are getting somewhere!!!
