we too have only been able to trace back to jacob and alyce. i know jacob was born around 1701/02 in germany and died feb. 16 either in 1788 or 89. and married alyce about 1741. as u saud, she was a spielman, born about 1717 and died in 1805. i believe they both died in va.

i have 2 male kackley cousins whom are keeping the kackly name going...they each have a son.

not sure how much or if any of this is of interest to u...but id love to know anything u have on jacob and alyce...and anything past them.
