John Kadlecik b Mar 25 1873

Hi I am looking for any information on John Kadlecik born March 25 1873 in (Czechoslavakia poss) I was told this but then find listings with Austria or Hungary. He was married to a Suzanne (Suzie) born 06 Nov. 1878 not sure where and have no maiden name for her. They both died in Raine, Wisconsin. They had a son John Joseph Kadlecik born 29 Jan 1900. Died 01 May 1967 in Racine, WI. I don't know if he had any siblings but my dad remembers the Kadleciks having family out east pennsylvania maybe or New York. John Joseph was married to Clara Overland. I am at a dead end with them. Hoping someone might have any kind of lead.

Saw an old message regarding Elizabeth Kadlecik with a sister named Chris (Christine?) My grandmother was born Christine Kadlecik in the vicinity of Binghamton, NY. I remember my aunt Joan talking about her aunt "Liz" who might just be Elizabeth. I too was told the family was Czech, but the naturalization lists I've run into indicate that the immigrant relatives came from Austro-Hungary, there being no Czechoslovakia at the end of the 19th century.

Elizabeth Kadlecik was born 1898, but I don't know when her brother Paul was born. He was older, as I remember, so it is not unlikely that he was born in 1889

Hi! I am also a Kadlecik, however my great-grandparents arrived in 1901 out of Sobvtiste...while I was researching it, I bumped into your family's records. I was browsing the Ellis Island files and found the ship's manifest for your family. When they came to America in 1923 they headed to Cliffside, New Jersey. I hope that helps in your search!

I don't know much about my grandmother's family. She had 2 sisters, Mary and Chris, and a brother John. I'm not sure, but I think she also had a brother, Paul. They are all deceased now. I don't know anything further back than that. She was from Czechoslvakia and her name was Elizabeth. That's the extent of my knowledge. I believe that she was born around 1898, not sure if it was in US or if she came over as a baby. She had no accent. As long as I knew her and her family, she lived in NYS.
