I am researching my husband's Kaelber line. The earliest Kaelber I can connect our line with is this one:
1. Christian Kaelber, M. Born in 1836 in Saxon.

ca 1859 when Christian was 23, he married Thearesea [LNU] (parents unknown). Born in 1837 in Prussia.

They had the following children:

2 i. Carl, M (1859-)

3 ii. [FNU], ?

4 iii. [FNU], ?

5 iv. [FNU], ?

6 v. [FNU], ?

7 vi. Charles, M (1864-)

8 vii. Ida, M (1866-)

9 viii. Lin, M (1868-)

10 ix. George, M (1871-1942)

11 x. Mary, F (1872-)

12 xi. Henry, M (1873->1900)

From the 1900 Census, it was reported that Theresea was the mother of 11 children, 4 still living in 1900. I have not been able to discover the names of four children, or whether they were born in the US or before Christian and Theresea immigrated.

There are several other Kaelber families which I have been in contact with, but I have not been able to connect their Kaelber lines with mine.

At this point, I am looking to fill out the lower branches of Christian's family and discover more about Christian's parentage.
