Have you found the Kaelin Ancestry Pages that someone (Debbie?) mentioned in earlier posts? You will find lots of info about Kaelins, and the very nice "webmaster" is from the PA area. Find it at

My family here in Louisville, KY has quite a few "Martin" names, also. I don't know if that is a popular Swiss name or just in the section where the Kaelins started. The abbey there was started by St. Meinrad (read Martin). They came to our area of the country after the monks opened St. Meinrad Archabbey 65 miles from Louisville (in Indiana in the 1850's.
