Hello, I seen your inquiry about the Kampf name. I have a copy of a cencus for Iowa in nin eighteeneighhyy , which lists my gr-grandfather John J. Kampf and his wife Mary Ann Punt Kampf.It also said that he was born in Hesse. They had a son named Jacob, Joseph, Phillip, etc. On his headstone, says that he was born in Folheim, germany. Maybe, we may be related, as I do not knnow who John J. parents were or if he had and sister or nrothers.. If this is any info that you may know, please let me know. Sincerely, Bambi.
