There were family death notices published for Hermann Glander & Alwina Kaffel Glander in Milwaukee's German newspapers.

These are indexed in my collection: "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950). Look-ups in my most current data are available via email.

My g.g.g. grandmother Maria (Kaffehl) Badtke lived in Cedarburg during the 1870's. She was born in Dargislaff, Pomerania (near Treptow). Just wondering if I could make any connection to the other Ozaukee County Kaffehl's.

hi....my grandfather had some relatives named Kaffel, who lived in Vojvodina (ex Yugoslavia)...Franjo and Julka Kaffel, that died somewhere in Austria....

Hi, so nice for someone to reply. My Kaffehls in OZ. Co., WI. I have a great-grandfather Ernest Friedrich August Kaffehl, and a great-grandmother Juliane Christine E. (Bruehl), with Ernest Kaffehl and Fredericka ? as his parents. They lived in the city of Cedarburg. They came from Cologne and Treptow Germany. My Alwina Wilhelmine Juliane Kaffehl, b. June 15, 1871, Moezow, Germany; and m. Patrick Shannon in Milwaukee, and d. March 16, 1942, and is buried in Zue Rue Cemetery, Cedarburg, WI. We need to keep trying if this doesn't fit yet. There are other Kaffehls in the Cedarburg area, but so far I have yet to fit them to my Kaffehl's. Let me know what you are looking for maybe we can both figure thuis mystery out. I'm a decendant of one of the Ozaukee Co. Kaffehl's. How does the other Kaffehl family fit to my Ernst Kaffehl?

Have some census information on Kaffehls in Ozaukee County. Want to know connection to Alwina Kaffehl Glander born in Germany died 1917 in Milwaukee WI wife of Herman Glander 1839-1914 . Thank you
