My main families in Tucker Co. are Yoakum (however you choose to spell it) and Flanagan but I go after all the relatives. In going through some marriage records I have, I have added the Kalar line to my tree but I need help. John Kalar married Elizabeth Parsons 10/24/1865 in Tucker Co., WV. Their parents were Jacob and Sarah Kalar and Abraham and Emily Parsons. However I have several children belong to a John and Elizabeth Kalar who were also married at approximately the same time. According to the 1860 Tucker Co. census John who married Elizabeth Parsons was only 25 years old when he married so these children can't be his, does anyone know who the second John and Elizabeth Kalar are? They have daughters Ann E. m. William E. Talbott Sept 25, 1865; Jane m. James S. Swisher Aug. 2, 1868; son Jacob B. m. Eunice Jane Cross Sept. 27, 1868. I would also like to know where Solomon and Mahala Kalar fit in the picture, I have marriages for several children of theirs also. They are probably the same generation as Jacob and Sarah and my mystery John and Elizabeth.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. If anyone wants more info on Tucker Co. marriages in this time frame I have a lot of them. Thanks. Karen
