My Kalish info is really limited. I was able to find my grandfather's info (Blocks & Monkofsys from Lithuania), but there is no one left on my grandmother's side w/ any info. My grandmother's (born Rose Bravin, 9-11-17, I think) mother was Becky Kalish from Riga Latvia. Becky met her husband, Joseph Bravin (also from Riga) on the boat to NYC prob around 1900ish and they married & lived in New York City. My line of Kalishes seems to end there...

Good luck on your search. I posted this several months ago and almost never hear from any Kalish folk--I thought it was a more common name, but I haven't been able to find out much myself.
