Kallas, Joseph, Michael, Mary

Will try this again. I am looking for information on my grandfather's family. His name was Joseph Michael Kallas. Born in Germany/Poland in November 1856. His father's name was Michael and mother's name was Mary Culip/Culek/Culik. He lived in Marinette, Wi and Menominee MI from about 1880 to 1913. I have information on his marriages but cannot find anything on his parents or if he had siblings and where they might have lived etc. Any information or hints would be greatly appreciated

My grandfather's name was Paul Kallas who married Katherine Shry but their sons were Ambrose, Leonard, Ziegmund, Andrew and daughter, Esther. Don't know when they came to Princeton but lived on a big farm. I know Paul had a brother Frank but I don't know about the others.Kathryn Shry's sister had two daughters Annie & Leona. Any information on William Kallas (Josephine - wife)who came over about 1886, father of Joseph Kallas (Pearl Ruff - wife)- Joseph was born 1900 in Philadelphia. Kallas is spelled different, Kallas, Kalias, Kalas.

Hello....My married name is Kallas, my ex-husband's father is Lee Kallas. I wonder if this is the same Lee Kallas you mention is your father. My ex-husband is named Anthony.

Looking for information on my grandfather Joseph Kallas born (?) Germany November 1856 Died in Menominee Mi April 1915. I have obits and census information that show he was in the Marinette, Wi/ Menominee area from at least 1896 on. He immigrated in 1890 (?) possibly but I don't know from where or how. His father's name was Michael and his mother's name was Mary ( Kulip or Calek) Dont have a clue as to any other family members. Would appreciate any help you might send me to Darlene

Florian George Kallas

I am looking for some information on my Great-grandfather.
I am not quite sure when he was born, but he died around 1927. He was married Mary Ragina Allen-Klos, they had 5 children together: Florian, Audrey, Adrian, Dolores, Wilma
I have info on my great-grandmother, but I am at a loss with my Great-grandfather. He was from Indiana, and I was told he was of Pole decent. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly apreciated. Feel free to e-mail me.

Chris Booth, I would be very interested in the information you have, please cantact me. My great-grandfather, was Florian George Kallas and he went by George. I was told that he was of Pole decent, do you think you could help me?
I don't know his year of birth, just that he died around 1927 in a mill accident- he was very young.

There was a John Kallas (1846-1916) who married a Susanna Fleming (1849-1922) in Waldau about 1870. They had the following children: Joseph (1871), Andrew J. (1873), Mary (1875), Rosa (1877), Frank B. (1880), Eva (1885), Paul (1887), and Jocie? (1890).
I've got a little bit on this family, but not a whole lot.

Kallas Family from Princeton Wisconsin

I am looking for information about a Jack Jay Kallas born about 1930 in or around Princeton Wisconsin. His mother was Etta Emeline Hart and father was Jack Kallas. I know that Etta Emeline died while living in Princeton and she worked at a factory there.
Would like to find out more about him and his family because we would be distant relatives.
I've been to Princeton and it's not a very large town so there has to be a connection.

I am really related to no others in the Princeton area. A few miles north in the Plainfield area is where all 16 of my great grandparents lived. The Surnames are Jeffers, Hart, Potter, Van Hooser, Wilson, Baker, Meddaugh, Burr.
Please keep me in mind if you ever run into the Jack Jay Kallas or any of his family. I would really love to know more. His grandmother was raised as almost a sister to my grandmother after her mother died and then she got married and moved to Princeton and nothing much more was known about them and their family.

I know that he had family living in New York, other siblings and such. My aunt is suposed to be sending me info about him. I do know on his marrage licence his name is last name is Kallasmations

Nick was born in Athens in 1888. He was married with three sons when he came to America. After arriving he was married twice and had about 15 more children most if not all were born in ohio

My Grandfather was also named Nick and waas born in greece in 1895. He had a brother that lived in New york and also one that lived in Akron with him for awhile and then went to Wheeling wva where he passed away.
my grandfather died in 1970 and is buried in Wheeling . He had 3 chilkdren Elizabeth Nadine,George and Lee who is my dad

nick kallas born 1888 in Greece. Died in Portsmouth, Ohio in 1964. married at least twice and had many children. Had a brother who lived in New York and a niece named Marie Kallas who was an opera singer.
Nick lived many years in Portsmouth, Ohio. Many of his grandchildren still live in the same area.
