Maria Cristina Kallenbach was probably born around 1810, allegedly in Prussia. She emigrated to the U.S. around 1840-1844 with her husband John Christoph Schloeffel (Schleffel) and children. She had another child en route aboard ship. They arrived in Buffalo, NY and she gave birth to another child, Augustus Frederick Schleffel (born November 17, 1844). They moved on to Welland, Ontario before 1850. This is all I have. From the baptismal records of Augustus, I'm not even sure her middle name is Cristina. I am looking for any information at all that might pertain to Maria or other relatives that may have emigrated with her; it would be greatly appreciated.
